- I have been looking for a couch that could double in emergency when power is out in the front room (will use free standing fire Place), I cannot stand those Fat armed couches. When I seen these I instantly felt they would fit in my "farm house" style front room...that gives you the feeling you are home the second you walk in....Once I got them (I bought two couches) put together I realized just how strong and durable they are. I am so Happy I found this Shadow Futon...and the storage in the arm is just a bonus.
